Ulefone has taken a completely different route when it comes to rugged phones. While some smartphone brands might have taken the route of producing devices with all the necessary protective properties built in, Ulefone is going for an all-around-device approach.

Instead of going for a device that is designed to resist water, dust, and dirt, Ulefone has made its device capable of handling water for as long as you want it to.
Specification
The Armor 11 5G has a 5.99-inch display with 2,680 x 1,280 pixels (19.5:9 aspect ratio), an all-new 64-bit Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset (MT6795T Quad-Core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 + MT6795T Quad-Core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53) which offers very good performance even when doing multitasking, and 6GB of RAM.

In addition to that, the device comes with 128GB of Ulefone’s own in-house memory. While we are sure the performance would be much better with a more capable external memory card, 128GB is the highest amount of storage one can get on the device.
As you can tell by now, the Armor 11 5G is a device capable of handling everything we have thrown at it so far. On top of that, we have been told by a couple of industry insiders that the device is able to handle up to 5.5V on charging, which is double the maximum 5V allowed by some other 5G devices we have tried.
To sum it up, the Armor 11 5G is a device that is capable of going into the toughest of situations and comes out unscathed.
With a starting price of just Php15,990 ($380), you can expect your next 5G-compatible device to stay for a while.
We have heard from sources that Ulefone is planning to introduce a mid-range smartphone in the near future with dual rear cameras and a larger 5.7-inch display. The exact launch date for this new device has yet to be revealed.
I am no tech expert, but this is how it works. The cell is actually just the antenna and the signal is sent to the base station, the base station is connected to the internet, and the internet connects the phone to the cell signal that has been sent to the base station by the cell tower.
The antenna sends and receives both the cell signal and wifi signal. So basically the cell tower is there to send a signal to the cell tower base station which then sends the signal to the internet, which then sends it to the phone.
The phone is connected to the internet and gets the wifi signal from there. As for how the phone can connect to the internet directly, I have no idea.
Not that I’m an expert, but this seems like a decent explanation. As for your last paragraph, I just saw that the cell base station sends the signal to the cell tower (where your phone is connected), and on the same page, they mention that the cell tower sends it to the internet.
But, the signal received from the cell tower doesn’t go to the cell phone, just to the base station. The base station then sends the signal to the internet.
So the internet (or wifi network) is just a ‘bridge’ to send the signal between the cell tower and the cell phone (I’m just guessing here). I hope I answered your questions.

Design
The design of the Ulefone Armor 11 is pretty much what you would expect from an all-metal 5G smartphone, it’s attractive and looks premium.
The frame is quite thick, so it might not be perfect for people who really like thin devices, but for those of you who don’t mind the thickness, it’s a great-looking device.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device, in addition to a couple of buttons.
There is a power button and volume rocker to the left and a SIM tray to the right. There is also a USB Type C charging port in the middle, which is a nice addition.
The 5G antenna band is located at the bottom, so the placement of the device will be at your discretion, as it won’t be too inconvenient.
One thing that is a little off-putting is the placement of the 3.5mm jack. It is in the exact same spot as the antenna band, but a bit higher and sticking out the side of the device.
You might find this placement a bit off-putting, as it’s hard to reach without being clumsy, but as a phone, it works.
As for the battery, the battery is a bit of a letdown. The battery isn’t too small at all, but considering the 5G chipset, it might seem like a letdown.
The 5G chipset is a bit of a battery hog, so you can expect a battery life of around 8 hours of screen-on time on a full charge.
If you are someone who does a lot of chatting on social media, this won’t be enough to keep you going, but if you’re someone who uses their phone for only a few hours a day, it might be fine.
The software and hardware are both built by Huawei. There is an update option, but the phone won’t be updating forever.
This phone is essentially a 5G version of the Mate 20 Pro and a great replacement for those who are looking for a 5G device.
The pricing isn’t bad either, as the phone can be had for around £299 on a two-year contract. The phone is available in all major markets, including the US. It’s no surprise that Huawei is releasing a device that would make its mark on the market.
